Health is Wealth… we all know that,…but…

Incorporating Juicing and Live Foods into Your Daily Routine…

Some of you know me personally and you know I am a huge believer in health. I have been a vegetarian for over 25 years and it started with making small changes to my diet. It really has turned into a lifestyle for me.

If you don’t have your health “under wraps”…then how can you be successful as a businessman or woman?

…So as a health enthusiast, I am always on the lookout for ways to improve my overall well-being and health and that is why I wanted to share some information with you about the benefits of incorporating juicing and consuming live foods into your daily routine.

LIVE FOODS is crucial to your well-being. Juicing is a great way to consume a high amount of nutrients from live fruits and vegetables in a convenient and easy way. It allows you to consume more fruits and vegetables than you would typically eat in one sitting, and also allows your body to absorb the nutrients more easily.

When juicing, it is best to use a combination of fruits and vegetables to ensure that you are getting a wide variety of nutrients… HOWEVER, I do NOT combine Fruits with Vegetables when I use my Vitamix blender as they do NOT combine well and all the nutrients are therefore not benefiting you… but apples are the exception.

Some of my favorite juice combinations include:
• Carrots, apples, and ginger
• Spinach, kale, and cucumber
• Celery, spinach, lemon, and ginger

Consuming live foods, such as sprouts, microgreens, and fermented foods can also provide a wealth of nutrients for your body. These foods are living and therefore contain enzymes that aid in the digestion and absorption of nutrients.

Sprouts and microgreens can be added to salads, sandwiches, and smoothies for an extra nutritional boost. Some examples of live foods that you can easily include in your diet are:
• Alfalfa sprouts
• Broccoli sprouts
• Microgreens such as radish, mustard, and sunflower
• Sauerkraut, kimchi, and other fermented vegetables

By making small changes (even Atomic Changes ;-)) to your daily routine, such as incorporating juicing and consuming live foods, you can give your body the nutrients it needs to function at its best.

Start with small steps and gradually increase the amount of live foods and juice that you consume. Remember that consistency is key for long-term health benefits.
