| Do you consider yourself VALUABLE? Einstein said: “Try not to become a man of success. Rather become a man of VALUE.” Have you ever reflected on that? … and what a wonderful feeling to be able to GIVE more than you RECIEVE… and you can do that by becoming a Man/Woman of value… I think about this often… I think about how I can be of help to people as I TRULY get SO much more in return when I am able to put myself inside that “scenario”… in Giving there is Receiving… and there is no bigger joy than that… at least for me. … I am not saying I also like receiving… but I DO like giving more than I receive. I am in no way saying I am some “poster-boy” of that “term”, but I do like to strive towards being a man of Value… someone that someone comes to for help or support. There are SO many ways you can become Valuable… have YOU stopped to think of that? Here are just SOME that I ponder about often. Educate yourself and Share what you learned. I love doing just that…if I learn something, I immediately think “WHO can I Share this with that will immediately Find this valuable?” Don’t you just LOVE to give off your knowledge and “spread the news”, so to speak….? I KNOW I do! Lend an Ear: This can be some of the most Valuable things you can do. Just BE there for someone that needs someone to just LISTEN TO THEM. Many people carry around with them so much baggage and sometimes they just need someone to talk to and…to GET IT OUT…then they also very often “solve their own problems/issues in the process. Encourage and Empower: Boy do I love that one…I have been in team Sports all my young adult life and I LOVED the Team Empowerment aspect of it… and especially when we had to compete… I loved to be the one to bring us all together and “Conquer and WIN!”. Find the BEST in your Teammates and Make them even BETTER…I love seeing that happen. Be Honest And Authentic: This can be hard at times..because it could also mean that you need to say something that may hurt someone’s feelings…or not be what they had hoped/expected to hear… but you MUST be Authentic and Honest to yourself too…as I also feel that this is the ONLY way you also will excel in your own development. By being that person..you will build Trust and that is one of the most valuable things you can offer. I hope some of these “things/ideas” inspired you today to go Make a Difference in this world… YOU MATTER TO ALL OF US, and especially those very close to you.
