Ever thought of HOW you can be of Help to others?

I have three go-to questions that have helped me and countless others in business:

1. Where are you right now?
2. Where do you want to go?
3. How do you plan on getting there?

Once I know a person’s current situation and their desired outcome, I can offer my assistance in helping them achieve their goals.. Maybe by even just brainstorming it with them. Even if I can’t personally provide the help they need, I can point them in the direction of someone who can.

The truth is, people don’t buy from you because they understand what you do; they buy from you because they feel understood. Building rapport and trust with your clients is essential in business.

We tend to do business with people we like, and part of being likable is showing genuine care for others. It’s not enough to simply act like you care; you have to truly care about helping others.

I’ve found that the key to producing results is through giving. While there are certainly people who are smarter and more organized than I am, they may not have the same level of focus on giving. Life rewards those who take action and produce results, not just those who talk about it.

Building a great reputation isn’t about talking about what you’re going to do; it’s about helping people and delivering on your promises. The more you listen and converse with people about their pain points and desires, the more equipped you become to offer solutions.

And when you become the person who consistently brings solutions to people’s problems, they will want you to be a part of their lives.
