You will NOT believe it… but it’s true…

…and why will I tell you that story…because I am a Strong Advocate against “medication and how it is abused in today’s society”… let me try to explain…

It was something that I happened to hear on the radio one day when I lived in San Francisco, CA back in the early 2000s. I was listening to the radio and there was a talk show of some kind and the host of the show said that the school got to take a certain medication to “combat” the effects of the ADHD,…AND that they, the SCHOOL would be “granted” $500 per student by the Pharmaceutical company that made the medication!!!!

…. Say WHAT?

… I could not possibly have heard this correctly… so I immediately called up my dear Aunty who was a teacher at the local high school in San Francisco, for over 32 years and I asked her if this could possibly be true AND if I could have possibly “heard this wrong”….? As I could not believe what I had just heard on the radio,…it had to be a joke?… it had to be wrong…

…but no… My aunt said that this was TOTALLY TRUE and that the schools certainly did that. We obviously discussed it and she also thought this was COMPLETELY WRONG, but there was not much she could do about it.

Why am I bringing this up today? Well, just because I think that not only is this WRONG, but we all have to be aware of what is happening in today’s society… I have neighbors where MANY of the kids are struggling with big-timee depression”… they are not even able to go to school on a regular basis.. They are young adults… 14-21 year-olds…and guess what.. They are also given medication for stuff like this.

…I realize that this is WAY too long of a conversation to have here in a short email like this, but I just wanted to “send it out there” as we have to be aware of what Big Pharma is doing to us!. Don’t quote me on this, but I seem to recall that Big Pharma’s “budget” is FIVE TIMES larger than the USA’s military spending…and the USA Military spending is HUGE on its own.

PS. I am sure I will get some flack for this email, but I am just concerned about how people are resorting to “drugs” instead of “bonding together as humans” and taking better care of each other and collaborating as a family, as a team, as a unit…and also going back to “nature”, both physically and spiritually… as I am a firm believer that the answers lie right there.
